Privacy Policy

LockIN hasn’t launched yet. This policy describes how the first release is designed to behave; we’ll finalize it at launch and update the effective date if anything changes.

LockIN does not collect personal data — what you do in the app stays on your device.

What we collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit personal information through LockIN. There are no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, and no tracking. Your activity in the app stays on your device.

This matches the app’s privacy label on the App Store: No Data Collected.

Health & workout data

With your permission, LockIN reads your heart rate and workout history from Apple Health to coach you in real time and calibrate your zones, and saves each run back to Apple Health as a workout. All of it stays in Apple Health and on your device — LockIN has no servers, and your health data is never transmitted to us or anyone else.

Location

If you allow location access, LockIN records your route and pace with GPS during runs. Location is optional — coaching works without it — and routes are stored only on your device.

Motion & fitness

LockIN uses your iPhone's motion sensors to improve pace accuracy and auto-pause. Motion data is processed on-device and never leaves it.

Apple Music & AI mixes

If you connect Apple Music, LockIN plays your library and can draft playlists using Apple Intelligence, entirely on your device. Building a mix sends only catalog searches (like genre or song titles) to Apple Music — never your health, workout, or location data.

Sign in with Apple

Signing in stores just two things on your device: your Apple identifier and your first name, used to personalize the app. There is no LockIN account on any server; signing out removes both.

Purchases

All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see or store your payment details. Apple may share aggregate, anonymous sales reports with us; these contain no personal information.

Apple App Store & diagnostics

When you download LockIN, Apple processes the download under its own privacy policy. If you’ve opted to share diagnostics with developers in iOS Settings, Apple may send us anonymized crash reports. They contain no personal information.

Children

LockIN is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children. If you have a concern, contact support@frozengrape.app.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s behavior changes, we’ll update this policy and the effective date above. Material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes.
